Olá pessoal, tenho uma dúvida e gostaria de saber se alguém pode me ajudar a esclarecer, sei que chato em inglês se traduz boring ou annoying más sabem aquelas situações quando dizemos coisas tipo quando onde alguém vai fazer algo para você e uma terceira pessoa te aconselha dizendo "melhor seria se você fizesse dessa maneira porque ele é bem chato com relação a isso" se eu traduzisse "it is better if you'd do it this way because he's quite boring/annoying regarding to this". Eu acho e sei que posso estar errado más boring ou annoying não expressa realmento aquilo que eu quero dar sentido me paresse meio agressivo porque nesse caso não quero dizer que a pessoa é irritante e sim que ela gosta que algo seja feita de um jeito e de maneira nenhuma pode ser feita diferente, vocês me entendem? tipo quando o Gavin disse uma vez sobre a palavra "combinar" que não existe uma tradução no inglês para expressar o que ele está sentido no momento quando se quer combinar de fazer algo legal com alguém, amigos ou familia, espero que estejam me entendendo e possam me ajudar a esclarecer essa dúvida, peace.

Well, in this case the guy is kinda perfectionist and doesn't miss a thing! So, I'd say picky. I don't know if this adjective is still used these days, but for me it fits the idea you're looking for.
If I were you, I'd do it this way, because he's really picky about that.

I don't know if this adjective is still used these days, but for me it fits the idea you're looking for. When I was reading your post, it was also the first word that came up in my head. In a most formal way, maybe I'd use demanding (exigente), meticulous (meticuloso), critical (crítico). All different kinds of being picky.

When I was reading your post, it was also the first word that came up in my head. In a most formal way, maybe I'd use demanding (exigente), meticulous (meticuloso), critical (crítico). All different kinds of being picky. All different kinds of being picky indeed! Love it!
