I found out these idioms when I listened Katy Perry's new single "Chained to the rhythm" for the first time
"Living our lives Through a lens": a lens or a filter, changes and transform what you see. It can alter reality from the "true" and give you a distorted or inaccurate view.
"so put your rose colored glass on!": a person who figuratively sees the world through rose colored glass is an optimistic person, who may see what is beautiful, but may also naively ignore what is harmful and ugly in life. BTW glasses have lenses, so it's the same idiom.
"trapped in our white picked fence": (cercado branco de casas americanas) This is a symbol of a typical American home.
I hope it will be useful for you all
If I made mistakes, please let me know
See you,
Tereza
