Tenho um certo problema com as expressões "to cheat on/with". Sei que se referem a traição dentro de um relacionamento, mas não entendo de quem a pessoa está falando, se é sobre a pessoa que ela traiu (namorado/a), ou sobre a pessoa que ela ficou, sei lá!
Por exemplo, um personagem de How I Met Your Mother (sem spoilers, haha) diz em um ep: "I'm about to be trapped on a boat all night with the guy I cheated on, the guy I cheated with, the girl that the guy I cheated with cheated on." Essa frase deu um nó na minha cabeça!
Alguém sabe esclarecer isso, por favor? Obrigada!!

cheat on é trair alguém - David was cheating on his wife. Acho que a frase significa - Eu estou a ponto de ficar presa a noite toda num barco com o cara que eu traí, o cara com quem eu traí e com a garota que foi traída pelo cara com quem eu traí.
