Vi essa expressão na série Colony. Para mim não fez sentido, alguém sabe o que pode significar?
Person 1: George? Hey.
Person 2: Hey. Person 2: I packed you up some stuff. Person 2: I'm guessing it's been a while since you had wine and chocolate.
Person 1: So when can I see you again? Oh.
Person 2: Look, you have to understand my situation. Person 2: You don't live in the Green Zone, so
Person 1: So what? You think I can't handle myself up here?
Person 2: Well, of course you can.
Person 2: But there are unwritten rules. Person 2: I'm only third in command at Water and Power. Person 2: Maybe someday I'll be in a better position. Person 2: Right now, I can't rock the boat. Person 2: But if you would be up for something a little more discreet
Person 1: Your loss.

Meaning: do not upset people by trying to change a situation E.g.:"You shouldn't sit there and say everything's fine, don't rock the boat."

Rock the boat seria algo como "entornar o caldo", "bagunçar o coreto", "embolar o meio de campo", "arrumar encrenca"
