Good evening everyone I've been thinking about this lately but I'm still finding myself in the dark, if I were to say these following phrases in english how would I say them:
-Agora "só falta" você me dizer que não vai me ajudar mais.
-"Só esta faltando" você entregar sua parte do trabalho.
-"Só faltava essa", hein? -"Só me faltava essa, hein?
They're things we usually say day to day, I was wondering if there is something similar in english.
Anyone???

Algumas opções que eu encontrei por aí: "Now you are going to tell me you´re not gonna help me anymore". The next thing I know is you will tell me you´re not gonna help me anymore.
That´s all I need! (Tipo: Now that I have to go out, it started to rain. That´s all I need!

My two cents now: Well, for this sentence " só me faltava essa" or "era só o que me faltava", we have in English "and to make matters worse", because we usually use this expression whenever we have a list of unlucky events going on and after feeling so miserable one more bad thing happens. Eg. I lost my job, I couldn't pay my rent, my car is broken... and to make matters worse, my boyfriend broke up with me. I'm screwed! Hope I have helped you! Peace!

Of course, some of these expressions depends on the speaker's entonation.

"Now, all that's left is for you to tell me you won't help me anymore." "The only thing missing is for you to submit your part of the work." "This was the only thing missing, huh?" "This is just what I needed, huh?"
These phrases capture the essence of the expressions you provided in Portuguese. They convey a sense of something unexpected or undesirable happening."
