From here and out: de agora em diante; daqui pra frente. From here and out I'm gonna study English, at least, thirty minutes in a day.
From there and out: desde então; daquele tempo em diante. Last year I couldn't buy a new car 'cos I had no money. I've always saved money from there and out.
You can say that again: falou e disse; disse tudo. The skin of your teeth: por um triz; nas últimas. To know the ropes: saber ou conhecer os macetes. To show the ropes: mostrar os macetes.
To play it by ear: se decidir na hora. Do you wanna go to USA, London or France on vacation? I don't know. I'll play it by ear.
To fly by the seat of your pants: deixar acontecer: deixar rolar; venha o que vier; deixar a vida levar. How can you make the test if you didn't study anything? Don't worry about it. I'll fly by the seat of my pants.
