Hy there, while we wait for Gavin to make te video let me try to explaine what's a passive voice for you, it's very simple. Passive voice is when the subject is receiving the action and not performing it, look the folowing exmple: Adam made the movie In this sentence the subject is doing the action to the object. Adam(subject) made(verb/the action) the movie(object). Now turning this sentence to the passive voice form. The movie was made the movie(subject) was made(verb/the action) Note that the order was inverted and what was the object now is the subject. You can also say: The movie was made by Adam In this case "by Adam" is not an object it becomes an agent which is the person or thing that is doing the action. In simple words the passive voice happens when there is an action being peformed and who or what is performing it is not being shown it becomes latent. Look these others examples: Harry is playing the piano The piano is being played(passive voice form) the piano is being played by Harry(passive voice form) Ben paid the bill The Bill was paid(pacive voice form) The bill was paid by Ben(passive voice form) I hope I helped and if someone desagrees with me please feel free to correct me I won't mind because I'm also here to learn.

Hi Paulo,
Thanks for the short explanation. Much appreciated ! It helped me to understand little bit more how to use the passive voice form.
