Hi guys,
I'm Davi, and I'm a brazilian guy learning English myself and I really like the Small Advantages Channel on Youtube. I have a reason for that: I love Curling, a sport on the ice.
Since I saw the sport in the TV, during the Vancouver Winter Olympic Games, I wanted learn about it and make some real pratices. So, I started read about the sport and searching a country for fulfill this dream.
Actually, Im between Canadá or Sweden and I have a question about Curling in Canadá. Is Curling so popular in USA ? Is easy found Curling Stadiuns in Canadá? Is cheap or expansive the Curling's pratice?
Do you play Curling, Gavin?
Thank you for your help.

Wow, interesting man! Here in the US I have never met someone who curls nor have I ever even seen a curling rink. However, the tabletop version, shuffleboard, is very popular in bars here. I've never curled, but I play shuffleboard probably once a month.
In Canada, curling is very popular. Every city greater than ~100,000 people will have a curling arena, I bet. Something to do during the cold, dark hours of winter! I bet it wouldn't be that expensive, like you could rent your equipment if you wanted to start out playing recreationally.
You should try to create a Brazilian national team!

Ty, Gavin!
Brazil have a national team. The Brazil Team live in Vancouver, Canadá and we has played several times with USA Team in the American Challenge, for a World Cup. But, we aren't so good yet. We has lost all games, lool.
Brazil is very hot for this sport. Is not possible we have a rink here. The ice need a special improving (? - improve? improved?) that cost a lot.
But, Im working for this little dream becomes really.

I have never saw the tabletop version. I have no idea about that. In Denver, you have a Curling Rink. I'll put the link bellow if you want to try. denvercurlingclub.com/
